Volunteers Needed
Dog Portrait Sessions

Overview:
Dogs and their owners, I am looking for at least 50 owners of doggies to volunteer for a photo shoot! I am creating a book of these dogs and I'll be having a display set up at Dwell Media Design 116 East Lafayette St. Jackson, TN 38301 on December 7th. This is a project for my graduate studies to earn my MFA, so this is not something I'm interested in profiting off of, although, books of all of these dogs will be for sale once they are done.

What I need from you:
I need as many family members to be available for portraits with the dog(s). I will be taking photos of the dog alone as well as family members playing with the dog(s) and a general portrait with the dog(s). I will not be bringing lighting equipment, so rooms with a lot of windows or outside areas are preferable. If your dog has a favorite toy, blanket, trick or any type of custom prop, that would be great as well!

Downloading:
These photos will be available to download online when I get closer to finishing my projects in December. I may only choose a few photos I think are best to be available for download and dump the rest. This project will be on going until December 7th, so if you know anyone who would like to volunteer between now and then, please send them the schedule link. I need at least 50 volunteers but I am open to more than 50 if my time permits.
Showing:
I will send all of you a reminder about my show December 7th in Jackson. It will be downtown in my husband’s business’ showroom. Finger foods will be provided and we will all gather for an after party elsewhere if you’d like to stay. I would love if all of you came! For out of town guests, we can help arrange for you to stay with friends or I can arrange a hotel for you so you can enjoy your Saturday night without having a drive home if you prefer. I will choose about 5 portraits for a custom display and all of the dogs will be published in a book. The books will be for sale $50-150. I will be printing only a few of them but if you know you’d like one, just contact me and I’ll be sure to have one available for you at the show.
